Hello! My name is Libby and I hope to meet you and your dog(s) very soon! I enjoy playing with all dogs (big and small) and having doggie sleepovers at my house. I know lots of commands and tricks that my mom (Coach Carolyn) taught me that she can teach you and your doggie too! I’m so lucky to have a mom that loves and understands me so well. I think we make a pretty good team!

I’m Carolyn Nussman, Owner and Head Coach of Pawsitive Canine Coaching. I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my website! Growing up in Waco, Texas I always had dogs and loved playing and caring for them. My love for dogs carried over into my adult life raising my first Golden Retriever, Gracie, caring for my friend’s dogs and now being the proud parent to my sweet Golden Retriever, Libby. After working in the IT Profession for over 20 years, I decided to follow my lifetime passion to work with dog’s full time.
I am an Honor graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My yearlong commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. I continue to study dog behavior through professional continuing education programs and most recently received Certificate of completions in Pet Nutrition and Diet and in Training Shelter Dogs. I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and also a volunteer at Operation Kindness, North Texas’ Oldest & Largest No-Kill Animal Shelter. My certification, continued education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and positively train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog special to you!

I know from first-hand experience the difference professional training makes in the relationship between a dog and their owner. Without professional training, it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation can occur! I teach through Positive Motivation utilizing Reward Based Methods while teaching you how to communicate with your dog on a level your dog will understand and consistently respond to. As I work with dogs and their owners, there is nothing that satisfies me more than to see a happy dog and a happy owner! My mission is to help you and your dog become a winning team and enjoy many happy years together!
